Join the Vizsla Club of the Carolinas If you are interested in joining the VCC, we recommend that you first take a look at our Bylaws and Code of Ethics. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact one of our Officers and they will get back to you as quickly as possible. Once you have read the Bylaws and Code of Ethics and all of your questions have been answered, you can then fill out an application form and mail it to the address below. Please keep in mind that a club sponsor is required. We encourage all prospective members to attend a VCC meeting prior to joining. Our meeting dates are posted on the Meeting Schedule page. The cost is $20 for an associate membership, which applies to everyone during the first year of membership. According to VCC by-laws, after the first year of associate membership, you may apply to upgrade to full single membership (1 vote) or full family membership (2 votes) if you wish. All new prospective members shall be eligible for either an associate or newsletter membership. After a period of one year, associate members may apply for single/family membership in accordance with the procedures outlined in the bylaws. Your application will be read and voted upon at the first meeting you attend following the submission of your upgrade request. The
VCC now offers a newsletter subscription to people interested in following
club events and news, but not in being active club members. The
newsletter subscription costs $15 a year. Newsletter subscribers will
not receive discounts on club events or the opportunity to upgrade to
voting memberships without becoming associates first. However, all
subscribers are welcome at any VCC event.
